Role and Responsibilities
• Approximately 12-18 hours weekly
• Produce clean, efficient code based on customer specifications.
• Design and implement effective enterprise FlexPLM database solutions and models to store and retrieve customer data.
• Demonstrate FlexPLM solution database technical functionality and process, such as performance, security and reliability.
• Develop / configure / customize data integrations between FlexPLM & other systems such as ERP/ MRP/ CAD
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software for FlexPLM solution.
• Upgrade FlexPLM environments to most recent versions.
• Create and manage technical specifications for code development.
• Develop data scripts as needed for mass data updates/migrations.
• Develop custom handlers, user extensions, custom scripts, client-side customization and web services.
• Able to design customizations and extensions through modifying existing FlexPLM solutions to correct errors or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance if need be
• Propose high level FlexPLM solution designs to improve and/or optimize existing product development processes
• Recommend solutions to customers to improve new and existing database systems based upon PLM industry knowledge and experience.
• Setup, update / enhance code deployment processes.
• Support and develop architectural strategies at the modeling, design, and implementation stages to address business or industry requirements.
• Develop software-testing procedures through conducting trial runs of programs and software applications to deliver customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programing or related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role
• 5+ years’ experience with FlexPLM architecture – specifically focused on retail businesses; ideally working in an apparel and/or wholesale environment.
• Experience in Configurations, customizations, and upgrade/data migration, Integration of FlexPLM.
