We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to join our rapidly evolving Cloud Infrastructure team. This key role focuses on Azure cloud operations, including daily administration tasks, application migration, and responding to system alerts. The ideal candidate will support hybrid cloud environments, emphasizing security, DevOps, and self-service AWS experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Hybrid Cloud Architecture & Support: Design, deploy, and manage hybrid cloud solutions leveraging Azure AD. Integrate on-premises resources with Azure services, ensuring seamless connectivity and security.
• PaaS Services Management: Implement and support Azure PaaS offerings (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Logic Apps). Maintain performance, availability, and cost-efficiency for cloud resources.
• Application Support: Support Azure Authentication services and troubleshoot related issues. Assist developers with Python and C# application code.
• Production Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex production issues related to network, application, and infrastructure. Monitor and optimize performance using Azure cloud-native tools.
• Infrastructure-as-Code: Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and compliant cloud infrastructure using Terraform. Implement CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Security & Compliance: Apply least privilege and zero trust security principles.
• DevOps & Automation: Manage source control, build, and release pipelines. Automate tasks using PowerShell, Python, and ARM/Bicep templates.
• Collaboration & Support: Work with developers, security teams, and stakeholders to meet business requirements. Provide technical guidance and training. REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Azure Platform Expertise: Experience with Azure PaaS and IaaS services. Strong knowledge of Azure AD and hybrid identity solutions.
• Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Proficiency with Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep.
• Scripting & Development: Proficiency in Python or C#. Familiarity with PowerShell for Azure automation.
• Networking: Understanding of VNET peering, NSGs, load balancing, and VPN Gateways. Experience with Azure Firewall and Application Gateway. Ability to read packet captures
• Security & Compliance: Experience with Azure Policies and security best practices.
• DevOps: Experience with Azure DevOps. o Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) is a plus.
• Monitoring: Proficiency in using Azure cloud native tools for monitoring.
• AWS Experience is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Hybrid Environments: Managing and integrating on-premises environments with Azure.
• Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis.
Additional Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team player and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with ITIL and other service management frameworks
