

Cloud Engineer (32230)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team for a contract position with the Federal Government. The successful candidate must have a Government of Canada Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance. will be responsible for implementing cloud components, building data storage solutions, and developing deployment pipelines. A strong background in deploying storage solutions, particularly Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) clusters, and integrating these solutions with Azure applications is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure and services to support data storage and processing needs.
• Deploy and manage HDFS clusters, ensuring seamless integration with Azure-based applications.
• Develop and maintain deployment pipelines to facilitate continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data architecture strategies.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Proven experience in deploying and managing HDFS clusters.
• Strong understanding of Azure architecture and services.
• Expertise in data architecture and designing scalable data storage solutions.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps and building CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience integrating Hadoop solutions with Azure applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
