Role description

Position: Senior Cloud Application Architect

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

Contract

Rate Range- $55-$60.92/hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, Education, Geographic Location, and other factors)

Candidates MUST be LOCAL to Atlanta, GA

Required Skills & Qualifications:

   • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

   • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role with hands-on experience in designing complex systems.

   • Proficiency in Java, C++, NodeJS, NestJS, Angular, and Spring Boot for application development.

   • Strong experience in integrating with Salesforce and ServiceNow platforms.

   • Expertise in AWS cloud technologies (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS/EKS, etc.).

   • In-depth knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline.

   • Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, or EKS.

   • Strong understanding of both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) database systems.

   • Proficient in using Git for version control and collaborative development workflows.

   • Experience in system design and architectural decision-making, with a focus on high-availability, scalability, and performance.

   • Strong ability to verify solution compliance with both industry standards and organizational requirements.

   • Proven experience in vendor management, including evaluating third-party solutions, integrating external products, and maintaining productive vendor relationships.

   • Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth collaboration across different departments and workstreams.

   • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

   • Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud.

   • Familiarity with additional frameworks such as Spring Cloud, Microservices, and GraphQL.

   • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Salesforce Platform Developer).

   • Experience in ensuring regulatory compliance and data security standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) in architectural designs.

   • Experience in any of Integration platforms like MuleSoft/Boomi is a plus.
