Business Data Analyst (Oracle Fusion Data)
Job Title: Business Data Analyst (Oracle Fusion Data & Data Warehouse)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Business Data Analyst with expertise in building data warehouses using Oracle Fusion Data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, data integration, and analytics with a deep understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP, SCM, HCM, or related applications. This role requires collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, and BI teams to design and implement scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze Business Needs: Gather and document business requirements for data warehouse and analytics solutions from stakeholders across finance, supply chain, HR, and other functional areas using Oracle Fusion.
• Data Extraction & Integration: Work closely with data engineers to define data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes from Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications into a data warehouse.
• Data Quality & Governance: Ensure data integrity, consistency, and governance by defining data validation and reconciliation processes.
• Reporting & Analytics: Gather the reporting requirements , dashboards, and analytical solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with IT, finance, supply chain, HR, and other teams to align data solutions with business goals.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Data Analyst or Data Warehouse Analyst.
• Hands-on experience in working with Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (ERP, HCM, SCM, etc.) and their data structures.
• Experience in data modeling, ETL design, and data warehouse architecture.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to write complex queries for data extraction and validation.
• Knowledge of data integration tools such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Fivetran, Informatica, or AWS Glue.
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouse solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery is a plus.
• Experience working with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
• Understanding of finance, supply chain, or HR business processes within Oracle Fusion.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills to translate business needs into data requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform for cloud-based data warehouse solutions.
• Certification in Oracle Fusion, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence is a plus.
