Business Data Analyst with EDW - Banking

Location: Columbus Ohio – hybrid -3 days a weeks onsite

Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team. In this role, you'll work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, document technical requirements, and manage the product backlog.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders, the product owner, and team members.
• Work in an Agile environment to develop Features and User Stories.
• Collaborate with the team and Product Owner to gather and document requirements, including data mappings.
• Refine Epics into Features and User Stories with the team.
• Facilitate backlog refinement sessions and ensure user stories are ready for prioritization.
• Help identify and mitigate project risks.
• Work with Application BSAs to address impediments.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience.
• 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst in a Data Warehouse environment.
• 1+ years of SQL experience for data analysis.
• Strong experience in data mapping (source-to-target).
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience leading other BSAs.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in banking or financial services.
• Familiarity with Snowflake and AWS S3.
• Experience with data modeling tools like Erwin.
