Job Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Sales Technology team. This role will focus on the administration, enhancement, support, and integration of Sales and CRM systems for Distribution personnel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting business and data analysis, documenting requirements, developing user documentation, and supporting system integrations to ensure efficient and effective sales operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct detailed business and data analysis to support system implementation and enhancements.
• Document business and functional requirements for system improvements.
• Develop and maintain end-user documentation and training materials.
• Write and execute test plans and test cases to ensure quality system performance.
• Provide technical support, answering user questions and resolving system issues in a timely manner.
• Work closely with team members to perform data analysis, solution design, testing, and release management across multiple systems.
• Assist in evaluating and implementing vendor tools and processes.
• Collaborate with non-technical end users to interpret and document requirements, developing functional specifications.
• Partner with technical teams to address design questions, including application security and data feeds.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of internal client requests while maintaining support documentation.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and operational proxy for end users.
• Manage operationally focused projects, particularly in data and workflow management.
• Participate in other Sales Tech support responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
• 5-7 years of experience in writing business user requirements and functional specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of software development and system implementation life cycles.
• Experience with client-server, database systems, data modeling, and technical architecture concepts.
• Strong data query, analysis, mapping, conversion, and integration experience.
• Knowledge or experience with:
• Snowflake Data Platform (preferred for Client Data Platform)
• Salesforce CRM System
• Tableau (preferred)
• Business Intelligence tools (a plus)
• JIRA Agile development software (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to propose effective solutions.
• Experience with Distribution/Sales systems (preferred).
• Financial Services industry experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent business experience.
