Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our Capital Markets team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives, with a solid understanding of Murex configurations and business analysis. The candidate should be tech-savvy, possessing skills in SQL, scripting, and Excel, and capable of performing basic configurations in Murex.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily monitoring, support, and maintenance of the Murex platform.
• Conduct basic configurations and parameter adjustments within the Murex system to meet business requirements.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and solutions.
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend system improvements or enhancements.
• Apply knowledge of Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives to ensure accurate system configurations and data integrity.
• Provide insights and support related to trading, risk management, and settlement processes.
• Utilize SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
• Leverage Excel for data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of Murex-related projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Participate in system testing, validation, and user training.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Murex-related issues in a timely manner.
• Provide second-line support for complex technical problems.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
• 7-8 years of experience working with Murex in a Capital Markets environment.
• Demonstrated experience in Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives.
• Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages, and Excel.
• Familiarity with Murex configurations and basic technical setup.
• Understanding of database structures and data management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with business process documentation and gap analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
