

Business Analyst L3
The IT Business Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical, and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team.
Desired Skills :
Strong experience in Capital Markets as a Business Analyst with exposure to regulations such has CCAR reporting/Basel or similar regulatory or compliance projects.
Good understanding of Balance sheet components , basic accounting principles , and ability to analyze and interpret cashflows , financial statements etc.
Strong experience on one or more Banking products - Knowledge on products such as Mortgages/Deposits/ Trading /Securities/Debt/Derivatives/Margin/ Collateral Management would be desirable.
Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects and foster communication between business and IT.
Consult with users and clients to solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems and industry standards and recommends solutions.
Ability to coordinate with Operations, Business & Technology to align business and informational priorities.
Support system change processes from requirements through implementation and provide input based on analysis of information.
Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and provides user and operational support.
Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making
Experience in test strategy, preparation of test scenarios, defects triaging and co-ordination with QA team.
Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background.
Lead the definition of problem statements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Providing support during and post implementation phase of various projects
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
6-8 years of relevant experience
Must have strong SQL queries skills
Exposure to various SDLC methodologies
Experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced skills.
This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and has strong communication skills
Tools - MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, MS Project, JIRA ,Confluence and SharePoint
Proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills
Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail.
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $28.89/hour - $45.15/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
