Business Analyst

Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Analyst with a strong data focus to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business acumen, data analysis skills, and a passion for leveraging data and AI to drive impactful business decisions. This role will be instrumental in translating business requirements into actionable data strategies and delivering data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Data Analysis & Insights:
• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets from various sources using tools such as Databricks, Power BI, and Python.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor business performance.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis, including statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning techniques.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to uncover actionable insights and inform business decisions.
• AI/ML Project Support:
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers in the development and deployment of AI/ML models.
• Translate business problems into technical requirements for AI/ML projects.
• Evaluate the performance of AI/ML models and monitor their impact on business outcomes.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML and explore new opportunities for its application within the organization.
• Business Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across different departments.
• Translate business needs into clear and concise data requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success metrics.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for data-driven initiatives.
• Data Governance & Quality:
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
• Advocate for data-driven decision making across the organization.

Required Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Databricks, Power BI, and Python.
• Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and data visualization techniques.
• Experience with AI/ML concepts and their application to business problems.
• Experience with Azure ML or other cloud-based machine learning platforms is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of business processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
