Job Summary

We are urgently seeking a Mid-Senior Tableau Developer to join our Business Intelligence team on a 6-month contract. This is a fully remote opportunity (preferably EST/CST), supporting either Data Quality or Marketing Data initiatives, with high potential for extension based on performance. We’re looking for someone who not only brings strong Tableau, SQL, and Python expertise but also thrives independently and brings creativity and initiative to dashboard design.

The right candidate will be a self-starter with a collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and a positive, team-first attitude.

Key Responsibilities

   • Tableau Dashboard Development: Independently create, iterate, and maintain compelling and user-friendly Tableau dashboards to support internal stakeholders.

   • Data Preparation & SQL: Write advanced SQL queries for complex data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks. Ensure data accuracy and performance.

   • Python Scripting: Use Python for data manipulation, automation, and advanced analytical use cases.

   • Project Focus: Support key initiatives in either Data Quality or Marketing Data analytics.

   • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable reporting solutions.

   • Data Governance & Accuracy: Ensure all dashboards and processes align with our compliance and data security standards.

Requirements

   • Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

   • Experience: 3+ years in Tableau development with strong SQL and Python skills

   • Skills:

   • Advanced Tableau (Desktop & Server) dashboarding

   • SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, tuning)

   • Python (pandas, NumPy, scripting/automation)

   • Strong data prep experience

   • Excellent communication and documentation skills

   • Ability to work independently and iterate on designs

   • Positive, team-oriented mindset

   • Other: Must be eligible to work in the U.S.; preference given to candidates in EST/CST time zones

Preferred Qualifications

   • Experience in banking or highly regulated environments

   • Familiarity with Agile development practices

   • Knowledge of marketing data, data quality metrics, or compliance reporting

   • Version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD familiarity
