Azure Local SME
Our client, a large professional services firm is looking to hire 2 Azure Local SMEs for a 6-12 month remote contract. The consultants will be supporting a large migration to Azure Local for Hyperconverged Infrastructure. The consultants must be skilled at designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions specifically utilizing the “Azure Local” feature, which allows organizations to run Azure workloads on their own on-premises hardware, effectively bridging the gap between their local infrastructure and the Azure cloud.
Responsibilities
• Hybrid cloud architecture design – integrate Azure cloud services with on-premises infrastructure using Azure Local (data flow, security, and performance optimization)
• Local workload migration – Reviewing existing applications for migration to Azure Local
• Network configs – secure network connections between Azure and on-premises environments, network segmentation and routing.
• Storage management – designing and implementing storage strategies for Azure Local deployments, taking into account the data, redundancy, and performance
• Security best practices – access control, data encryption, and compliance
• Performance – Monitoring and troubleshooting
Required Skills
• SME level skillsets and experience with Azure Local
• Experience integrating Azure cloud services with on-premises infrastructure using Azure Local (data flow, security, and performance optimization)
• Experience assessing existing applications to identify a fit for migration
• Ability to create secure network connections between Azure and on-premises environments, network segmentation and routing.
• Experience designing and implementing storage strategies for Azure Local deployments
• Experience optimizing Azure Local performance
