Azure Engineer

ComResource is hiring an Azure Cloud Engineer - Migration Specialist for a 3-6 month project. Must have experience with an Azure Migration.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Azure Engineer with expertise in cloud migration to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Azure-based solutions while leading the migration of on-premises infrastructure and applications to Azure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute cloud migration strategies from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Azure.
• Design, configure, and deploy Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, and Security.
• Assess existing infrastructure and applications to determine cloud readiness.
• Optimize cloud performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud migration and Azure infrastructure.
• Implement best practices for automation, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience in Azure cloud services, including compute, networking, and storage.
• Hands-on experience with migration tools such as Azure Migrate, ASR, and third-party tools.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management in Azure.
• Experience with PowerShell, CLI, or Python for automation.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400) are a plus.
