Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Platform Engineer with deep expertise in containerization, CI/CD pipeline design, and integration of Azure DevOps Services with hybrid infrastructure. This role involves working closely with development teams to enhance DevOps processes, ensuring seamless deployments, and optimizing infrastructure scalability.

As a Senior DevOps Platform Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping our internal developer platform, driving culture change, and improving automation and software delivery. Key Responsibilities:

🚀 DevOps & Infrastructure Automation
• Design, architect, and implement next-generation internal developer platforms.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (preferred), Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Implement GitOps practices to streamline software deployment.
• Automate infrastructure management using Terraform, Helm, and Packer.

🛠 Containerization & Cloud Deployment
• Manage and optimize Docker and Kubernetes environments (certification is a plus!).
• Deploy, maintain, and monitor hybrid cloud infrastructure for scalability and performance.
• Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies to enhance automation and reliability.

🔍 Monitoring & Troubleshooting
• Ensure high reliability of environments and toolchains, proactively addressing disruptions.
• Monitor system capacity and performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Improve feedback loops for developers through automation and DevOps best practices.

🤝 Collaboration & Culture Transformation
• Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps principles into software engineering workflows.
• Enable teams to seamlessly deploy applications using modern DevOps tools.
• Drive continuous improvement in software delivery processes and infrastructure management.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

✅ 7+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering.

✅ Strong expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

✅ Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, TravisCI, TeamForge, etc.).

✅ Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform, Helm, Packer.

✅ Strong scripting skills – Python, Bash, PowerShell.

✅ Experience with version control and source control management (Git).

✅ Experience deploying and managing SCM toolchains such as Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, Nexus, TFS, Azure DevOps.

✅ Strong understanding of Microsoft and/or Linux system administration and networking.

✅ Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, Salt, or Chef).

✅ Experience managing VMware-based virtualization environments.

Highly Desirable Skills:

➕ Experience operating in a highly regulated industry.

➕ Experience with Crossplane and Kubernetes CRDs.

➕ Experience managing CI/CD pipelines for diverse software assets.

➕ Experience creating VM templates and deploying them at scale.
