Azure Data Integration Engineer
Position Required: Azure Data Integration Architect/Engineer A leading global technology solutions provider is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to lead their data integration platform rollout.
Location: London (mainly remote) Contract Type: Contract
Day Rate: Circa £700 per day Contact Length: 10 Months Initially
The Role: Leading the transition from point-to-point integrations to a centralized hub and spoke model, focusing on:
• Architecting scalable data integration solutions on Azure
• Leading and mentoring a team of integration engineers
• Establishing best practices and technical standards
• Managing critical data pipelines and integration processes
• Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver business requirements
Technical Requirements:
• 10+ years hands-on data integration and software development experience
• 5+ years Azure Software Engineering experience
• Deep expertise in Azure services including:
• Function Apps and Durable Functions (C#)
• Logic Apps
• API Management
• Stream Analytics
• Data Factory V2
• Service Bus
• Event Hubs
• Strong understanding of:
• Application interfaces (REST, GraphQL, SOAP)
• Distributed systems architecture
• DevOps practices and Azure DevOps
• SOLID principles and TDD
• AZ305 Certification preferred
Additional Skills:
• Experience with Python, PowerShell
• Knowledge of IaC (Terraform, ARM, Bicep)
• Understanding of Master Data Management
• Data Cataloging expertise
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Excellent communication skills
