

Azure Cloud Architect/Engineer
Azure cloud Engineer:
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to join our rapidly evolving Cloud Infrastructure team. This key role focuses on Azure cloud operations, including daily administration tasks, application migration, and responding to system alerts. The ideal candidate will support hybrid cloud environments, emphasizing security, DevOps, and self-service AWS experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Hybrid Cloud Architecture & Support: Design, deploy, and manage hybrid cloud solutions leveraging Azure AD. Integrate on-premises resources with Azure services, ensuring seamless connectivity and security.
• Infrastructure-as-Code: Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and compliant cloud infrastructure using Terraform. Implement CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• PaaS Services Management: Implement and support Azure PaaS offerings (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Logic Apps). Maintain performance, availability, and cost-efficiency for cloud resources.
• Application Support: Support Azure Authentication services and troubleshoot related issues. Assist developers with Python and C# application code.
• Production Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex production issues related to network, application, and infrastructure. Monitor and optimize performance using Azure cloud-native tools.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure delivery and support, with significant exposure to cloud architecture.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure delivery and support, with significant exposure to cloud architecture.
• Demonstrated experience with AWS and Azure, including cloud-native application development, application migration, and hybrid environments.
• Solid experience integrating IoT/ITS technologies, particularly in a transportation or government setting, is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, disaster recovery, and data management in hybrid cloud environments.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or other similar languages.
• Familiarity with transportation management technologies and protocols (ITS standards, transportation signal controllers, etc.).
• Experience working in agile project environments, with the ability to diagram and present cloud architectures.
• Proficient in utilizing GitHub and GitHub Actions for efficient code management, automation, and deployment processes.
• Experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipeline deployment strategies using Terraform.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or substantial career experience in Information Technology, Computer
• Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Azure Cloud Certification (Azure Certified Solutions Architect ) preferred.
