Azure Cloud Application Engineer
Duration: 6 Months W2 Contract / FTE
Location: Dayton, MN (Hybrid 1 to 2 Days a Week)
Consultant must work on our Company payroll (W2 Contract / FTE)
The Sr. Cloud Application Engineer will assist in troubleshooting technical issues within the area of Cloud applications and infrastructure. They will assist in the development and design of cloud-based solutions that will meet business requirements as they collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs. Other anticipated responsibilities include:
Develop and implement cloud strategies, including migration plans and cloud-native application development.
Create and maintain documentation for cloud architecture, processes, and procedures. Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud solutions.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
Lead intellectual property creation and protection for innovative and ground-breaking solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
8+ years of Cloud Application experience.
6+ years of Azure / Enterprise Level environment experience
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure DevOps.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
Strong experience with cloud migration strategies and tools.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
Strong documentation skills
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments.
Experience working within an Agile/Scrum process using enterprise tools.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
