

AWS Engineer
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven AWS Cloud Engineer with over 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing scalable and cost-effective cloud solutions. As part of our team, you will be responsible for managing AWS-based infrastructure, executing cloud migration strategies, automating processes, and ensuring high-level security practices. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in cloud architecture, AWS services, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage cloud migration projects, reviewing and analyzing existing infrastructure, and developing new cloud architectures for seamless transitions to AWS.
Implement cloud migration strategies, select appropriate AWS services, and oversee the deployment, testing, and validation of cloud solutions.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using AWS SDK (Python), including EC2 instance management, backups, and monitoring resource usage.
Conduct Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) workshops, educating teams on the creation, modification, and deployment of AWS resources using Terraform.
Enforce security best practices by implementing IAM policies, VPC security groups, encryption methods, and other compliance measures to safeguard data.
Lead and execute DevSecOps initiatives, including the deployment of applications using Jenkins, Kubernetes, SonarQube, and Trivy for security scanning.
Develop and maintain microservices architectures, deploy applications on AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), and implement containerization strategies using Docker.
Create and manage Kubernetes clusters and nodes, deploy microservices using Python, and configure port forwarding for application exposure.
Contribute to building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Terraform.
Required Qualifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate.
5+ years of experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions on AWS.
Strong proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and more.
Experience in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
Expertise in Python programming and AWS SDK for automating cloud management tasks.
Demonstrated experience in cloud migrations, including infrastructure assessment, planning, and execution.
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservice architecture.
Solid understanding of security best practices, including IAM roles/policies, data encryption, and network security.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline integration and DevOps practices.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $128,383.00 per year
