Job Title:- AWS DevOps Engineer (Harness)

Duration:- 6+ months contract (Possibility of further extension)

Location:- Hybrid (1day/Week Onsite) at Houston, TX

Job Description:-

This group is the revenue management group, the application is called Gemini. They are migrating to AWS. This person is a DevOps person, with extensive harness experience. They will be heavily focused in the CI/CD Space moving from TeamCity to Harness. Most of the work will be working through the teamcity space and re-write it in harness.

If there are any more customizations in the future in this space, this person will be responsible for it.

Required:
• DevOps with extensive Harness experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems and/or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of experience in design, development, documenting, testing, and debugging of new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use.
• 5+ years of development experience in AWS cloud platform with good experience in CI/CD platform using Harness.
• 4+ years of experience in using following technologies: Python, Redshift, Git, Glue, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, Spark, various CI/CD tools particularly Harness.
• Proficiency in Software Development best practices such as – Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, Unit/Integration testing, Code reviews.
• Worked closely with the architect for development of applications.
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.

Preferred:

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems.

AWS – Solutions architect associate certification.
