AWS Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Design cloud platform products and services to ensure reliable and performant design patterns are implemented
• Build a highly available Microservices Cloud platform based on Kubernetes
• Assess production readiness of new Cloud-native services and define operational characteristics and maintainability in respect to the current standards
• Develop automation for the standardization of the Cloud environments and architectural design patterns for consumption
• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available software
• Establish best practices and build tools to drive the use of CI/CD and the adoption of infrastructure/platform components by engineering teams
• Propose empirical, achievable solutions to complex problems including conducting technical evaluations and recommendations backed by supporting data
• Collaborate with product owners, developers/engineers, and architects to identify optimal solution architecture, efficiency, maintainability, and scalability of solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders from technology teams and the business to ensure that current and planned solutions are equipped to meet the growth and transformation needs of our rapidly scaling organization

Experience / Minimum Requirements:
• 5+ years of Software Development experience with Infrastructure-as-Code expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK)
• 3+ years of experience developing, deploying, and maintaining highly available?cloud services?at scale in large enterprise environments
• 3+ years of experience with public cloud, preferably AWS
• 3+ years of experience with DevOps practices and toolsets, such as Terraform, Ansible, Packer, GitHub, Vault, CI/CD delivery models
• Experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production across multiple infrastructures.
• High degree of collaboration and influence; Can dissect complicated technical problems
• Ability to think analytically, apply sound judgement, and solve problems
• Configuration Management software experience (Chef, Ansible, Puppet, SaltStack)
• Experience in building highly available, scalable, distributed systems in a Microservices based architecture
• Technical Experience: JavaScript, Web APIs, NoSQL/document databases, Apache Kafka, mobile development (iOS, Android, Xamarin), automated testing with CI/CD, and exposure to cloud computing concepts such as Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS

PAY RANGE :

Pay Range
• : $65-$80/hr
• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
