Location: Any Deloitte office in the candidate's current location (Hybrid - 2 days in office per week)

Job Overview:
Deloitte is seeking an experienced Automation Test Lead with expertise in Selenium, Java, and API testing using Rest Assured. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data platforms, MDM, ETL processes, and data pipelines while ensuring comprehensive test coverage across various testing methodologies. This role requires hands-on test automation leadership, coordination with product teams, and driving QE strategy execution.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, and Serenity.
• Perform API testing using Rest Assured and ensure robust test automation for data pipelines, ETL processing, and data APIs.
• Develop and execute SQL queries for data creation, validation, and verification.
• Work with Azure and/or AWS ecosystems for cloud-based automation testing.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and enable in-sprint test automation integration.
• Drive test planning, test data management, and test execution strategies.
• Lead the implementation and delivery of the automation strategy, ensuring alignment with product team objectives.
• Perform various types of testing, including Unit, Integration, API, Smoke, System, and Performance testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to enhance automation capabilities.
• Provide mentoring, repository reviews, and guidance to automation engineers to maintain best practices.
• Partner with delivery teams to enable Quality Engineering (QE) metric reporting and test coordination.
• Work with Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, and ETL tools in data warehouse architectures.
• Ensure adherence to QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
