Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to support the Navy Analytic Studies Program as an Associate Engineer. Support includes the use of modeling, simulation and analysis tools and techniques to support Navy’s performance of its analytic portfolio.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

Provide warfare and warfare support analyses and assessments, campaign analyses, mission level analyses, data analytics, modeling and simulation (M&S), and management and documentation support
Conduct operations research; research and development projects
Interface with all levels of DOD management as required to successfully meet program objectives
Provide warfare and warfare support analyses and assessments, campaign analyses, mission-level analyses, data analytics, modeling and simulation (M&S), and management and documentation support
Conduct analytic support encompassing all aspects of joint campaign, mission, and engagement-level modeling, including manpower and personnel, training and education, infrastructure, long-term planning, policy, medical logistics planning, and both afloat and ashore readiness
Support experimentation, demonstrations, and wargaming initiatives to explore operational options and identify operator objectives and considerations
Provide coordination across the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) staff, the Fleet, Systems Commands (SYSCOMs), Combatant Commanders (COCOMs), Marine Corps and other Service Staffs, Joint Staff, and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) staff
Requirements:
Experience:

3 years of experience in aerospace, electrical, mechanical, and / or systems engineering applied to Navy technical programs OR 2 years of experience in military, geopolitical, or war-fighting applications and analysis
Experience with advanced technology, including the ability to assess the value added in applying advanced technology to modeling, simulation and analysis
U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to apply R, Python, and/or SQL code
Familiarity with Jupiter ADVANA, Qlik Sense, and Databricks
Knowledge of Naval Campaigns and Navy Mission Areas
Familiarity with OPNAV organization, military rank structure, and terminology
Professional certification in Emerging Techniques in Analytics and Data Science
Professional certification in Critical Skills / Tools for Analytics Professionals
Professional certification in Advanced Excel Functions for Data Analysts
Professional certification in US National Security Risk Analysis
Professional certification in Wargaming

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering (aerospace, electrical, mechanical, systems engineering, etc.)

Security Clearance:

Must possess an active SECRET Security Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
