Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Tampa, FL location.

Duties: Work with the Exception Master Central (XMC) application to build and develop data feeds and reports based on business requirements using Ab Initio, Talend, and Oracle. Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues and recommend programming solutions as well as install and support customer exposure systems. Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages to design specifications. Write bash/korn Unix shell scripts for file data extracting, file preprocessing, and file cleanup of ETL reports. Responsible for onboarding new client data sources. Work on connection between XMC and upstream teams as well as Unix key installations to establish and verify secure file transfer protocol connectivity between systems. Create reports based on business requirements and identify data quality/accuracy of formatted data obtained from a variety of sources such as API and Oracle database. Responsible for Autosys maintenance, upkeep of process scheduling and calendars for processes, cooperating system update testing and verification, and software administrations/upgrades for EOVS and server administration. Responsible for impact analysis of database decommissioning and implementation of necessary updates/testing. Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues and conduct testing and debugging. Responsible for preparation of daily reports for management detailing production outages and resolution. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Two (2) years of experience must include: Handling complex data structures, transforming data from various sources, and loading data into data warehouses using PL SQL, Ab Initio, and Talend; Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process including performing detailed analysis, collecting requirements, coding and unit testing, integration, and system testing; Designing and developing ETL graphs from functional requirements using various components in Ab Initio and Talend; Implementing architectural aspects of proposed solutions by utilizing technical design documents (high level and low-level design documents); Establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas; and Utilizing relational databases including Oracle and SQL in managing unstructured data. 40 hrs./wk.
