Role: Apigee Developer
Location: Dallas, TX (hybrid 3 days/week)
6-month contract
Pay rate: $60/hr
Required Skills:
• Extensive experience with ApigeeX and OPDK
• Expertise in designing, developing, and managing API Proxies (REST & SOAP)
• Strong understanding of API design patterns, versioning, and lifecycle management
• Deep knowledge of API security (OAuth 2.0, API Keys, JWT)
• Proven experience in API performance optimization (caching, quota, rate limiting, product management)
• Ability to troubleshoot and drive improvements effectively
• Experience integrating Apigee with third-party services and developing shared flows
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Node.js for API development
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git for Apigee integration and deployment
• Strong knowledge of automated API deployment and environment configuration management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for API troubleshooting
