Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level Adenza Developer to join our dynamic development team. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with the AxiomSL Controller View platform, specifically in the development and configuration of its modules for financial Regulatory Reports. As a Mid-Level Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining technical solutions within the Axiom CV environment, collaborating with business analysts, technical leads, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Development and Configuration:
• Design, develop, and configure solutions on AxiomSL Controller View framework according to business and technical requirements.
• Implement custom features, reports, dashboards, and workflows to meet specific business needs.
• Configure and customize Axiom components to ensure seamless functionality within the system.
• Reviewing and optimizing existing code within a BAU setting.
Code Implementation & Optimization:
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for customizations and enhancements.
• Collaborate with the technical team to optimize code performance, troubleshoot bugs, and implement improvements.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and company standards.
System Integration:
• Develop and maintain integration between Axiom and other internal upstream source systems.
• Work with the integration team to ensure smooth data flow, synchronization, and communication between systems.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
• Assist in the creation of test plans, unit tests, and perform functional testing on customizations and configurations.
• Resolve defects or issues identified during testing and production environments.
• Ensure that developed solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, security, and scalability.
Troubleshooting & Support:
• Provide technical support for issues that arise within the Adenza Axiom platform, identifying the root causes and providing timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with development staff and Axiom Cloud services to address incidents, ensure smooth production operations, and troubleshoot system-related issues.
• Monitor production activities/process to ensure timely and effective reporting, tracking, follow-up and communication of problems to end users.
Collaboration & Documentation:
• Work closely with business analysts, product managers, and other technical teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions that align with business goals.
• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation, including design specifications, release notes, and change logs.
• Assist in the preparation of user guides, training materials, and support documentation for end users.
Continuous Improvement & Learning:
• Stay up to date with the latest features, updates, and best practices for the Axiom platform.
• Actively contribute to improving internal development processes, tools, and practices.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing activities and training to enhance your skills and grow professionally.
Project Involvement:
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Work with project managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet client expectations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
• 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5-7 years of hands-on experience working with Axiom Controller View v9, v10 Regcloud.
• Hands-on experience on all the Axiom objects i.e. Data sources, Data Models, Portfolios, Shorthand, Aggregations, Freeform Report and Workflow.
• Working experience in US Reg reports.
• Familiarity with financial products, markets, and risk management processes.
Technical Skills:
• Knowledge in snowflake, Python, Databricks is desirable.
• Proficient in Oracle, PL/SQL programming and writing complex SQL queries.
• Knowledge of system integration, APIs, and data exchange protocols (e.g., SOAP, REST).
• Experience with SQL debugging skills.
• Experience with Axiom Controller View specific development tool, Axiom scripting language.
Problem-Solving:
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Ability to identify root causes of problems and implement sustainable solutions.
Collaboration & Communication:
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when required.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications:
• Relevant certifications in software development, financial systems, or technology.
• Certifications specific to Axiom CV or similar financial services platforms is a plus.
Additional Skills:
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.
Experience with cloud-based platforms or infrastructure is a plus.
