Job Title: ADABAS Natural Programmer/DBA

Location: Sacramento, CA

Duration: 12+ months

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled ADABAS Natural Programmer/DBA with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in ADABAS/Natural programming and ADABAS Database Administration (DBA). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in mainframe technologies and be proficient in Job Control Language (JCL) within the ISPF/TSO environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

✅ 8+ years of hands-on experience with ADABAS/Natural programming.

✅ Strong ADABAS DBA skills using Software AG tools and Natural toolkit.

✅ Expertise in z/OS and/or MVS Operating System.

✅ Proficiency with IBM mainframe utilities (IDCAMS, IEBGENER, SYNCSORT, FTP, etc.).

✅ Hands-on experience with TSO/ISPF and JCL.

✅ Experience in flat file processing and SDLC/testing methodology.

✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).

✅ Familiarity with IBM PD Tools (Debug, File Manager, Fault Analyzer).

✅ Experience with File-Aid and Xpediter is a plus.

✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
