Title: Adabas Natural Developer
Location: Trenton, NJ
Job Description
The candidate must work onsite for a minimum of one month before being eligible for hybrid work. They should have exceptional Natural programming skills, demonstrated both in their resume and interview. Prior project leadership experience is required.
The role also requires strong proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel for project documentation, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients effectively.
Responsibilities
• Develop and document business requirements.
• Create UI/UX mockups, workflows, use cases, and user stories.
• Prepare user documentation for training purposes, test scripts, and test plans.
• Work on fast-paced projects, handling multiple tasks efficiently.
• Be organized, proactive, and customer-friendly, with strong communication skills.
Required Skills & Experience
• Natural Programming – 5+ Years (Required)
• Hands-on experience in Natural programming language for developing applications.
• Ability to write, debug, and optimize Natural programs for efficiency.
• Experience working with Natural Construct and other relevant tools.
• ADABAS Database – 5+ Years (Required)
• Strong experience in ADABAS database management and development.
• Ability to write and optimize ADABAS queries for application performance.
• Experience in data modeling, indexing, and security in ADABAS.
• Job Control Language (JCL) – 5+ Years (Required)
• Expertise in writing and troubleshooting JCL scripts.
• Ability to create batch job schedules and automate tasks.
• Understanding of mainframe job execution processes.
• TSO/ISPF – 5+ Years (Required)
• Hands-on experience with Time Sharing Option (TSO) and Interactive System Productivity Facility (ISPF).
• Ability to navigate and manage datasets, jobs, and system utilities in a mainframe environment.
• Experience in developing scripts and automating tasks in TSO/ISPF.
• Experience Leading a Project – 5+ Years (Required)
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end project execution, including planning, execution, and delivery.
