Title: Sr. Data Analyst
Location: Evansville, IN 47708, Nashville, TN 37203, Minneapolis, MN 55123, Milwaukee, WI 54902 or Chicago, IL 60631. Could be remote and/or hybrid if an absolute perfect fit
Pay Rate: $50-70/hr - depending on experience could be flex up to $90/hr
Contract duration: 6-month contract, could go longer term if onsite
Work authorization: Authorized to work in US
Must-Haves:
• 3+ years’ experience with Power BI reporting
• 3+ years’ experience in Azure Databricks
• 3+ years’ experience migrating and converting legacy SQL Server environments to Azure Databricks (strong code conversion and validation experience)
• Experience working in Banking or a similar regulated environment (healthcare, insurance, etc.)
Plusses:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field; advanced coursework/training related to computer science, management information systems, and mathematics/statistics
• ETL skills
Responsibilities:
Insight Global is looking for a Data Analyst to support one of our large Financial Services clients. We are looking for a Data Analyst who has experience converting Power BI reporting from a legacy SQL server environment to Azure Databricks.
Ideally we’d be looking for someone who has experience working in Banking or Regulated environment, and who is focused on code conversion and validation. You will work directly with the Manager of this group to understand requirements – this is not a role that requires direct stakeholder relationships responsibility, nor is it traditional engineering work, although experience with that would be helpful.
We are looking for someone who has enough experience to take on the role independently, and who is comfortable being self sufficient with guidance coming from direct leadership because this is a skillset the team doesn’t have present right now. With an aggressive goal of transitioning out of the old and completely into the new environment by July of 2025, we’re looking for someone comfortable with a 6-month contract duration focused on the legacy migration.
