IT Analytics Senior Data Engineer
Fort Worth, TX company is seeking a IT Analytics Senior Data Engineer to join their team for a contract opportunity.
Leverage the latest technology to solve business problems in a collaborative environment at this Fortune 500 transportation giant. Top technical resources are retained on long-term contract engagements.
Responsible for leveraging cutting edge technology to solve business problems by participating in all phases of the development process from inception through transition, advocating the agile process and test-driven development, using object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct and test reusable objects, and making the codebase better.
Contract Duration: 5 Months
Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
• 5 years software solution development using agile, DevOps, operating in a product model that includes designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications or data engineering solutions.
• 3+ years full-stack data engineering development experience, preferably in Azure.
• 5 years data analytics experience using ETL / SQL.
• 3 years of cloud development and data lake experience (prefer Microsoft Azure) including Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, Power BI and PBI DAX.
• Scripting: Python, Spark, SQL
• Data Platforms: Teradata, ADLS, Snowflake, Azure Data Explorer.
• Azure Cloud Technologies: Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure
• Power Apps and Azure Functions
• CI/CD: GitHub, Azure DevOps
• Expertise with the Azure Technology stack for data management, data ingestion, capture, processing, curation and creating consumption layers.
• Expertise in providing practical direction within the Azure Native cloud services.
