Job Summary

A Project Engineer is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Malvern, PA area. This role involves leading the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies in manufacturing environments, focusing on automation, IoT, data analytics, and process optimization to drive efficiency, productivity, and innovation.

Responsibilities
• Support Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing initiatives from concept to deployment.
• Assist in creating detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Implement Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT sensors, robotics, AI, AR, and digital twins.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams for seamless technology integration with existing equipment.
• Promote the adoption of MES, predictive maintenance tools, and real-time data monitoring systems.
• Utilize data analytics to monitor manufacturing performance and identify inefficiencies.
• Address data integrity issues and recommend process optimizations based on data insights.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical designs and system configurations.
• Present project updates and performance reports to stakeholders.

Skills
• Knowledge of smart manufacturing technologies: IoT devices, PLCs, SCADA systems, AI, machine learning, robotics.
• Familiarity with Ignition/Sepasoft MES platforms is a plus.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (Python, R, SQL).
• Understanding of industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, OPC-UA, etc.).
• Experience with SAP-ERP and CMMS systems.

Education And Experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field (Industrial, Electrical, Computer Science, etc.)
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies and practices.
• Proficiency in Total Performance Management (TPM) methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with automation, IoT, data analytics, and process optimization.
