Data Reporting Analyst

Description
We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Data Reporting Analyst in Greenville, SC. As a Data Reporting Analyst, you will be tasked with reviewing and analyzing datasets, constructing graphs and charts for data communication, and working with various reporting platforms (primarily PowerBI).
Responsibilities
• Review and analyze datasets for quality assurance
• Construct graphs and charts to effectively communicate data insights
• Employ reporting platforms such as PowerBI and SSRS in data analysis
• Utilize SQL for operations such as joins, inserts, updates, and deletes
• Work with Microsoft data products such as PowerApps, SSAS, SSIS, SharePoint Workflows, Data Factory, Polybase, and PowerShell.
Requirements
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field is required.
• Previous experience as a Data Reporting Analyst or a similar role is necessary.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Power BI is needed.
• Strong knowledge of data analysis tools and statistical packages is essential.
• Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions is crucial.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries is important.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy is required.
• Ability to translate complex data into understandable reports and presentations is needed.
• Familiarity with data visualization techniques is beneficial.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills are necessary.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment is crucial.
• Must be capable of multitasking effectively.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and development in the field of data analysis is required.
• Willingness to maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology developments and trends in data analysis is beneficial.
