From this continued success we are now looking to recruit Data Engineer to allow us to continue our exciting growth plans.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, optimizing data flows, and ensuring data integrity across various systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for solving complex data challenges.

Role responsibilities;

• Design, develop, and implement data solutions on the Azure cloud platform, including data ingestion, data transformation, and data storage.

• Build and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration workflows using Azure services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.

• Automate the deployment, monitoring, and management of data pipelines and data solutions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and define data models

Key skills required;

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on Azure cloud platform.

• In-depth knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Storage, Azure DevOps etc.

• Strong programming skills in languages like SQL, Python, and PowerShell.

• Experience with Apache Spark, Tableau and Power Platform would be beneficial
