We currently have an exciting opportunity for a People Data and Systems Specialist to join our People Team on a 9-month fixed term .

The role of the HR Systems & Data Lead will be to enhance and deliver first-class service for our systems and data offering. You will be working for a growing business which has made significant investment in its digital capability and thrives on insight from its wealth of data. You will act as the subject matter expert for people systems and workflows, seeking to continuously improve and provide a first-class service to both colleagues and leaders throughout the colleague journey. You will ensure data input and outputs are accurate and timely for the provision of insights to drive data led decision making and ensure our data handling is compliant across our platforms.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Systems:

• Provide timely, professional, and accurate second line advice to end users.

• Build, maintain and improve systems workflows, scheduled reporting, authorisation routes.

• Support system activities such as data migrations and system implementations.

• Deliver end user training through classroom, remote, e-learning and user guides creation.

Data:

• Work with system providers to build and maintain data connections between our people systems.

• Through requirements gathering provide ad hoc and cyclical reporting utilising systems dashboards, Excel, Excel Power Query, Power BI or other data visualisation tools.

• Ensure data integrity through regular data audits, collation of errors & omissions and provide end user training to improve data quality.

Essential

About you

• Experience of working with systems, implementation, data migration, configuration, testing and post implementation support

• High proficiency with Excel reporting from creation of imports, exports, analysis and report production

• Good time management and prioritisation skills

• Able to operate independently or as part of a team,

• High level of attention to detail

• Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot.

• Good communication and influencing skills, both verbal & written

Preferred but not essential (full training and support will be provided)

• Multi-Platform System Administration (HRIS, ATS, LMS, Engagement platform)

• Working knowledge of database design concepts relational, in-memory, data cubes and exposure to SQL and Oracle

• Experienced in extracting, cleaning, transforming business data from various sources.

• Experience building and debugging queries and dashboards - and common data query and visualization tools ideally Microsoft Power BI

• Experience building and maintaining a data warehouse.

• SQL skills
