Data Architect
Key Responsibilities:
• Data Architecture Design: Architect a scalable, unified data structure to integrate and connect diverse data sources from portfolio companies and verticals across real estate, financial services, and healthcare sectors.
• Source Systems Integration: Gain a deep understanding of source systems and data flows within each portfolio company and vertical, identifying opportunities to unify and centralize data.
• Parent-Child Data Structures: Design a logical data structure where the holding company level serves as the parent, and portfolio company or vertical-level data is structured as children, ensuring seamless flow of data from subsidiaries to the parent company.
• Data Governance & Quality: Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and security across all systems and reporting tools.
• Business Intelligence & Reporting: Work closely with business intelligence teams to ensure that data structures support robust, accurate, and real-time reporting at the parent and portfolio company levels.
• AI Foundation: Build a data architecture that serves as the foundation for future AI and machine learning initiatives, ensuring the data is structured in a way that is conducive to advanced analytics and predictive modeling.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with stakeholders from IT, business, and analytics teams to ensure the architecture supports current and future business needs.
• Documentation & Training: Provide clear documentation for data architecture, workflows, and processes, and train teams on how to utilize the data infrastructure effectively.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in data architecture or in a similar role, with a strong focus on integrating complex data across multiple systems.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data structures, specifically parent-child models.
• Expertise in working with diverse data sources across different industries, including real estate, financial services, and healthcare.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data management principles.
• Familiarity with business intelligence, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data storage and processing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Experience in preparing data for AI and machine learning applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
