About the Role

We are partnering with a leading financial services client to recruit a Data Analyst for a 12-month initial contract. This role focuses on leveraging data analysis to optimize API usage and lifecycle management within the organization. Key Responsibilities
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Utilize tools such as SQL, Tableau, and Excel to analyze datasets, providing clear and actionable insights.
• Generate reports and dashboards to communicate key findings to stakeholders effectively.
• API Lifecycle Management:
• Analyze API usage data to understand adoption trends and identify areas for improvement.
• Work with API lifecycle management platforms like Apigee and Postman to assess performance and functionality.
• Apply knowledge of API governance, OpenAPI specifications, and metadata management to support API strategies.
• Strategic Insights:
• Develop insights into catalogue usage patterns to demonstrate value and guide decision-making.
• Collaborate with technical teams to present findings and recommendations that drive business outcomes.

Skills & Experience Required
• Essential:
• Experience with data analysis tools, including SQL, Tableau, and Excel.
• Familiarity with API lifecycle management platforms such as Apigee and Postman.
• Strong understanding of API governance, OpenAPI specifications, and metadata management.
• Proven ability to interpret API usage data and deliver actionable insights.
• Desirable:
• Experience working within financial services or regulated industries.
• Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems in complex environments.
