Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst to join our team and support our efforts to enhance the sales pipeline through data analysis. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating sales proposal and quote data, uncovering insights and trends, and identifying opportunities to improve our win rates.
The ideal candidate will have strong Power BI expertise and be comfortable working with various datasets, including sales data, to drive business decisions. Familiarity with Salesforce, SAP CPQ, and IFS is a plus, but not required. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to make a significant impact on sales performance.
This is a hybrid remote, contract position based out of Milwaukee WI.
Responsibilities:
Analyze sales quote pipeline data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive increased win rates and business performance.
Evaluate proposals and quotes to uncover common themes related to lost opportunities and competitive losses.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to identify areas for process improvement and data-driven decision-making.
Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI to provide actionable insights to key stakeholders.
Present data findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams in a clear and concise manner.
Identify opportunities to optimize the sales quote process based on data analysis.
Use data insights to support strategic decisions related to pricing, sales strategies, and competitive positioning.
Work with various data sources and systems, including Salesforce, SAP CPQ, and IFS, to gather relevant data for analysis.
Continuously monitor and track key metrics related to the sales pipeline and report on performance.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis and dashboard creation (strong requirement).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for identifying trends and insights in large datasets.
Experience with sales-related data, proposal, and quote analysis is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Salesforce, SAP CPQ, and IFS is a bonus, but not a requirement.
Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Enthusiasm for continuous learning and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
