API Gateway Developer

API Gateway – 12 month Contract – REMOTE

We’re looking for an API Gateway Developer (Apigee or similar) for a 12 month fully remote project with a leading Insurance client in the UK. We’re looking for someone with experience of API products, on an AWS stack with experience of API versioning, documentation, DevOps (Jenkins, Bamboo, Git etc) and some exposure to AWS CDK.

Key skills:

Building API products and API management
• API versioning, Developer onboarding, documentation

AWS cloud native solutions
• DevOps – Jenkins, Bamboo, Git for deployment

SQL & NoSQL

Security protocols

Python and/or Typescript

Automated Testing tools

Agile project experience

The ideal person will have a strong AWS stack project background, a strong understanding of best practice and stakeholder management as well as one of more of:
• Integration Design and Delivery
• Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK / Terraform)
• Product monitoring/maintenance (Datadog, Splunk AWS tooling)

Whilst remote, the contract can only be worked from the UK for the duration of the contract
