Location: The role is eligible for remote work, with preference given to candidates able to work on a hybrid basis, commutable to our headquarters located in Owings Mills, MD. Sorry, we are not able to hire candidates that are located in New York or California.

About Monster Lead Group: Monster Lead Group is a pioneering, data-driven marketing company specializing in innovative marketing and sales technology. Since 2013, we’ve been on a mission to fuel client growth through targeted, turnkey campaigns that drive billions in funded loans. Our proprietary technology and advanced predictive analytics models enable us to forecast market trends and response rates accurately, helping our clients scale confidently. Our services span creative design, mail fulfillment, call recording and analysis, sales training, reporting, CRM solutions, and strategic consulting—rooted in a robust lead database.

We are mortgage industry veterans, powered by machine learning and driven by a passion for innovation and excellence. Our team is committed to optimizing direct mail marketing through advanced data management, compelling copywriting, creative services, and sales enablement. We pride ourselves on our innovative and agile, startup culture.

Why you will love this role:

In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to shape the user experience of innovative digital tools designed specifically for the mortgage industry. You’ll bring together your passion for intuitive user interface design and your front-end development skills to create seamless, human-centered experiences for both loan officers and borrowers.

With a direct focus on our client-facing platform — currently in its exciting alpha phase — you’ll play a key role in bringing it to life and preparing it for launch. Over time, your impact will expand to also include designing thoughtful, homeowner-facing workflows that help simplify the homeownership journey.

If you enjoy solving complex user problems, working in a fast-paced environment, and designing products that truly make an impact — you’ll thrive here.

What you’ll be doing:

Conduct comprehensive UX research including user interviews, usability testing, and competitor analysis

Collaborate on the development, discovery, information gathering, testing, and evolution of design standards, user tools, and product experiences

Develop strategic recommendations and design artifacts, such as wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and storyboards

Collaborate closely with product owners, business stakeholders, data and engineering teams, and our clients to translate research insights into effective solutions

Understanding each of our enterprise products, including how they fit into our larger portfolio/ecosystem; and the ability to communicate the rationale behind design decisions for each external-facing product

You’ve got what it takes if you:

Proficient with industry-standard wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure)

2 years of experience as a UX or interactive design lead

Understanding of software application development lifecycle (development savvy to understand how design impacts how the end product will be built)

Strong ability to conduct user research, including designing and conducting interviews, surveys, and usability studies

Experience working in a start-up company / environment

Exceptional communication, presentation, and follow through skills

  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

You’ll really impress if you:

Understanding or experience in digital marketing strategies and their impact on user experience

Familiarity with data visualization, OKRs or KPIs, research methods, usability testing, focus groups, and requirements gathering
