Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Tableau Developer for a remote engagement. This role primarily involves providing automated digital tools to the supply chain user base, joining large data sets, extracting custom data from multiple databases, and developing data visualization dashboards.
Responsibilities
• Providing automated digital tools to reduce manual data mining efforts across the organization
• Joining large data sets at various levels of aggregation
• Extracting custom data from multiple databases for analysis
• Developing and enhancing data visualization dashboards using Tableau and Alteryx
• Publishing new reports and enhancing existing ones
• Troubleshooting report failures or inconsistencies and providing resolution
• Standardizing data to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Supporting business analyst functions including training, standard work, knowledge management, and process improvement
• Conducting ad hoc reporting to address immediate business needs
• Gaining relational database experience or demonstrating willingness to train
• Showcasing SQL Server programming experience and back-end SAP/ERP data management skills.
Requirements
• Proficiency in SQL Server is mandatory
• Must possess skills in Training and Troubleshooting
• Familiarity with 'About Time' software
• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is desired
• Strong experience in Digital and Financial Notes
• Ability to handle Purchase Orders and Suppliers
• Experience with SAP R/3 and Tableau is a plus
• Excellent skills in Data Management and Data Visualization
• Experience with Backlog Grooming and Ad Hoc Reporting
• Ability to create Dashboards using data analytics tools
• Proficiency in R Code is a plus
• Familiarity with Supply Chain Logistics
• Knowledge of Process Improvement methods
• Exceptional skills in Programming and Specification
• Ability to prepare Datasets for analysis
• Proficiency in Agreement procedures
