Responsibilities

Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Tableau Developer in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Maryland Heights, MO. Summary: We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to join our Fortune 500 client's IT Data analytics team. This role supports one of the most high-visibility initiatives within the organization, with executive-level exposure and regular interaction with senior leadership. The selected candidate will be responsible for building insightful, actionable Tableau dashboards from the ground up and enhancing existing ones that inform how the company monitors, manages, and communicates customer outages. Responsibilities:

   • Tableau Developer will design, build, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards cross functionally throughout the firm

   • Analyze and present complex data sets related to outage incidents, communication effectiveness, and customer impact

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data providers to ensure timely and accurate data delivery

   • Present dashboards and insights in program-level meetings and to executive stakeholders

   • Partner with internal business units across the enterprise to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable Tableau solutions

   • As a Tableau Developer, you will participate in ongoing efforts to streamline and migrate AWS-based data transformation

   • Leverage SQL for data manipulation and extraction, using advanced functions

   • Offer input on how to better track and communicate outage notifications and improve customer experience

   • Remain flexible and adaptable to changing priorities within a highly collaborative and fast-moving environment

Requirements

   • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Tableau dashboards, ideally in an enterprise environment

   • Experience analyzing operational data (e.g., outages, service communications, customer messaging) is a plus

   • Strong proficiency in SQL, including experience with common table expressions (CTEs) and window functions

   • Exposure to AWS services, specifically related to data transformations and analytics pipelines

   • Proven ability to collaborate with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business

   • Effective communication and presentation skills; Comfort speaking to VP-level audiences

Preferred Qualifications

   • Tableau Public portfolio or sample work available

   • Prior exposure to Alteryx is helpful, but not required

   • Prior experience working within high-stakes or executive-level reporting environments is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
