Tableau Developer
Senior Tableau developer (w2 only)
Location: Jersey City, NJ (5 days onsite)
Contract to hire
Must Have: BI Developer, Tableau, RDBMS Database/ Datawarehouse, Cognos, Qlickview, Thoughtspot.
Nice to Have: Star Schema, Lake house and Alteryx
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Tableau Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio of Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
• In-depth knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, including installation, configuration, and administration.
• Experience implementing Tableau solutions in the asset management and hedge fund sectors.
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and principles.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and experience in establishing development processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Tableau certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Desktop Certified Professional) is a plus.
Pay Range: $70/hr - $75/hr
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
