Job Description:
We are seeking a Systems Analyst 3 with strong Tableau administration and development experience. This role will be responsible for managing a Tableau Online SaaS instance, supporting a broad and diverse set of users, while ensuring data security and performance optimization across the platform.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary Tableau Online Administrator
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security groups
• Ensure secure access controls between user groups and external stakeholders
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Tableau dashboards and reports
• Analyze business needs and propose technical solutions
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and enhance data visualization tools
• Perform system analysis, troubleshoot issues, and provide support for Tableau-related incidents
• Ensure best practices in data modeling, design, and governance
Minimum Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience in Tableau Administration and dashboard/report development using Tableau or Power BI
• Strong understanding of user administration and permission management in a SaaS environment
• Ability to perform detailed analysis and support application design
• 5+ years of experience with data management and database concepts
• 5+ years with data cleaning and manipulation techniques
• 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting technical issues in Tableau Cloud or Enterprise
• 4+ years of experience managing Tableau Server or Tableau Online
• 2+ years of hands-on Tableau dashboard/report development
• Power BI Administration experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
