Neos is seeking a Sr. SQL Database Developer for a long-term contract with our client in Austin, TX.

Experience & Skills:
• 7 Years:
• Working knowledge of SQL scripting and data batch processing in legacy and current technology
• Developing data conversion maps
• ETL Development experience using a tool like SSIS or Informatica
• Skill in solving problems, scheduling, testing, installing, and implementing data conversion projects/programs
• Data conversion and migration for enterprise-level projects
• Strong SQL Server physical database development experience (functions, stored procedures, triggers)
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, Azure SQL managed instances, and other database management technologies
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles, practices, and techniques of application programming and software design
• 5-7 Years:
• Executing data conversions for large volumes of data
• Implementing database coding standards
• Developing Database conceptual, logical, and physical database design models, including data dictionary and library
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Platform Services and Cloud Service delivery models
• 4-7 Years:
• Strong skills in performing data analysis and ensuring data quality
• Experience with Collibra, Informatica
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and ALM Octane

Perform database programming to modernize legacy programs for various projects. Develop simple and complex Structured Query Language (SQL) scripts for data migration and validation. Perform data profiling and analysis. Develop technical documentation including source to target mapping. Develop database code (triggers and stored procedures) for data entry and reporting. Support compliance with acceptable best practices for Data Management and Governance standards. Ensure appropriate configuration and administration of our client’s technical environments. Perform unit and system testing of database code. Ensure appropriate configuration and administration of our clients technical environments. Provide troubleshooting assistance during development, test, and implementation as well as during post-implementation support. Coordinate activities (including setting up meetings, documenting notes, following up on action items) and deliverables across all areas. Perform other duties as assigned to maintain operations.
