Meraki Talent’s leading global investment management client is actively looking for a SQL Analyst (Snowflake Migrations) to assist in a large scale data migration to Snowflake. Our client is looking for a seasoned SQL/Data Analyst, with strong MS SQL skills and query writing ability to help lead the charge on a significant Data migration, from a Sybase based Data Warehouse to Snowflake.
This role will be part of a further team project build, with the contract lasting at least a year. Our client has a passion for office working, they embrace office based collaboration, and with that are based in the office 4 days per week. (Non neg) This role offers the chance for an experienced SQL/Data Analyst the opportunity to work with one of the biggest names in global financial services, with access to a multitude of technology.
Responsibilities of the SQL Analyst (Snowflake Migrations):
Planning and migration of data from existing data framework to Snowflake based framework
Analysis of data and business processes to capture and embed a model between various business and technology partners
Document findings and convert them into specific technology and business process requirement documents
Work closely with Report Onbarding teams to coordinate accurate and timely delivery of industry standard reporting
Background of the SQL Analyst (Snowflake Migrations):
Solid experience using MS SQL is essential
Experience undertaking cloud migrations would be helpful
Experience working within a large scale organisation helpful
Experience working within the investment industry helpful
Sybase knowledge helpful
Happy to work in Edinburgh office 4 days per week (mandatory, non-negotiable)
