SQL Database Developer – Couchbase

5+ month contract (W2 ONLY, NO C-C)

Remote, but must live in DFW area

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Designs, develops, and implements complex SQL Server databases and solutions to meet business requirements.

Implements best practices for database schema design, normalization, denormalization, and data partitioning where necessary.

Writes and optimizes T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.

Analyzes database performance metrics and query execution plans to optimize database performance.

Implements indexing strategies, query optimization techniques, and caching mechanisms to enhance database performance.

Designs and develops Couchbase data models, document structures, and indexes to support efficient data storage and retrieval.

Implements N1QL queries, views, and indexes to optimize data access and manipulation in Couchbase databases.

Develops and maintains application design, program specification documents, and proprietary applications.

Interacts with user management regarding project status and user requirements to promote an environment with improved productivity and satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors degree

5+ plus years of development experience in SQL Server and Couchbase required.

Thorough understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process

Familiarity with the Company’s products and resources and prior healthcare industry knowledge preferred.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Good interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines.

Ability to use good judgment in conveying project status and problem escalation

Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.

Estimated Min Rate: $60.00

Estimated Max Rate: $70.00
