Description
5+ years of experience with Splunk, including at least 2 years with ITSI
Proven expertise in building and managing:
ITSI Services, KPIs, Base Searches
Correlation Searches and Episodes
Glass Tables, Deep Dives, and Event Aggregation Policies
Strong hands-on experience with:
Metrics, Logs, and Traces
Telemetry ingestion and transformation
Splunk UF, HF, and HEC configurations
Strong expertise with Splunk developing custom SPL queries for advanced analytics, KV stores and log filtering
Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
Experience monitoring AWS services and workloads
Solid understanding of observability principles and data pipeline architecture
Experience integrating with ServiceNow, especially for alert and incident automation
Soft Skills
Problem-solving mindset with a strong attention to detail.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
