Solution Architect (Data Engineer) - Los Angeles, CA (Day 1 Onsite)
This role will be pivotal in building and maintaining our data lake on AWS, leveraging data from our SAP S4HANA system to provide valuable insights to the business.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in cloud-based data technologies, excellent scripting skills, a solid understanding of SAP data structures and business processes and the ability to collaborate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes on AWS cloud services, including S3, Glue, EMR, EC2 and Databricks workflows.
Develop and optimize Python and SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation and loading.
Architect and implement our data lake on AWS, ensuring data quality, security and performance, with SAP S4HANA as a primary source system.
