Mandatory Skills: Snowflake-Data Science, Snowpark Container services
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Architect with extensive experience in Snowflake Datawarehouse and SQL Server to join our team The ideal candidate will have 8 to 15 years of experience in Create test and implement enterpriselevel apps with Snowflake Design and implement features for identity and access management Create authorization frameworks for better access control Implement novel query optimization major security competencies with encryption
Key Responsibilities
• Design comprehensive migration plans and solutions tailored to the customers needs and architecture ensuring a seamless transition to Snowflake Partner with our customers acting as the technical expert for all aspects of Snowflake during implementation
• Expertise in Snowflake concepts like setting up Resource monitors RBAC controls scalable virtual warehouse SQL performance tuning zero copy clone time travel and automating them
• Experience in handling semistructured data JSON XML columnar PARQUET using the VARIANT attribute in Snowflake
• Experience in in reclustering of the data in Snowflake with good understanding on MicroPartitions
• Experience in Migration processes to Snowflake from onpremises database environment
• Experience in designing and building manual or auto ingestion data pipeline using Snow pipe
• Experience in Cloud technologies such as AWS S3 SQS EC2 Lambda Redshift RDS
• Design and develop automated monitoring processes on Snowflake using combination of Python PySpark Bash with SnowSQL
• Snow SQL Experience in developing stored Procedures writing Queries to analyze and transform data
• Deep understanding of relational as well as NoSQL data stores methods and approaches star and snowflake dimensional modelling
• Experience with data security and data access controls and design in Snowflake
• Proficiency in complex SQL Unix ShellPython Scripting performance tuning and database optimization techniques
• Must have expertise in AWS Platform as a Service PAAS model and its integration with Snowflake to loadunload data
• Implement cloudbased Enterprise data warehouse solutions with multiple data platforms along with Snowflake and NoSQL environment to build data movement strategy
• Lead in Developing Project requirements for endtoend Data integration process using ETL for Structured semistructured and Unstructured Data
• Make necessary ongoing updates to modeling principles processes solutions and best practices to ensure that the Snowflake is aligned with business needs of the environment
• Act as Data domain expert for Snowflake in a collaborative environment to provide demonstrated understanding of data management best practices and patterns
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field
• 815 years of experience in implementing data management solutions and Snowflake Teradata AWS Redshift RDS MySQL
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with SQL Server
• Indepth knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Preferred Skills:
Experience with other Database tools such as SQL Oracle Teradata and AWS Redshift
Certification in any Database Architect Tool or Microsoft SQL Server or related technologies
