As their operations evolve, they're looking for a highly capable Smartsheet Specialist to join them as a 1099 consultant—someone who can not only build systems but also elevate how their teams collaborate and perform.
About the Opportunity
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and skilled Smartsheet developer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll play a pivotal role in building the internal infrastructure that supports external excellence. From automating workflows to improving visibility across projects, your work will make a direct impact on the firm's ability to deliver on its mission with clarity and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect Scalable Solutions: Design, build, and maintain sophisticated Smartsheet tools—including dashboards, templates, reports, and automation workflows—that align with evolving business and project needs.
• Streamline and Optimize: Identify inefficiencies and develop solutions that improve accuracy, save time, and create transparency across functions.
• Act as a Strategic Partner: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, project managers, and operational leaders to understand requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and deliver tools that drive decision-making.
• Ensure Long-Term Usability: Document processes, create user guides, and provide ongoing support to internal users to ensure high adoption and value from the solutions you build.
• Support Change and Growth: Proactively identify opportunities where Smartsheet can solve new challenges or enhance existing practices, especially in areas like project tracking, resource planning, and data visualization.
• Bridge the Technical with the Practical: Use your technical expertise to build tools that not only function well, but are intuitive, reliable, and aligned with how people actually work.
What We're Looking For
• Smartsheet Certification (must-have)
• 5+ years of experience designing and deploying Smartsheet-based solutions
• Advanced proficiency in Smartsheet, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Workspaces, pivot tables, and functional design documentation
• Strong business analysis capabilities and a consultative mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a consulting capacity
