We’re seeking a SharePoint Data & QA Analyst to support a large-scale SharePoint Online modernization project. This hybrid role combines information architecture and metadata design with test planning and execution, ensuring that the system is not only well-structured, but also thoroughly validated for a successful deployment.

🛠 What You’ll Do
• Design and optimize metadata, taxonomy, tagging, and folder structures across SharePoint Online
• Define and document content types, site columns, and managed terms to support search and discoverability
• Collaborate with architects and business users to map business capabilities to content organization
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for SharePoint sites, workflows, and components
• Track, document, and validate resolution of defects across the system
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination and documentation
• Support reporting and quality assurance throughout the build and deployment phases
✅ What You Bring
• 3–5 years of experience in data architecture or content modeling within SharePoint Online
• Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy, and SharePoint information architecture
• Experience designing content classification systems and working with business users on data structure
• 2+ years of experience in QA/test planning, defect tracking, and UAT coordination
• Familiarity with KQL (Keyword Query Language) and SharePoint search behavior
• Proficiency with tools like Excel, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar test management platforms
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills
💡 Nice to Have
• Experience with Microsoft 365 compliance center, sensitivity labels, or retention policies
• Exposure to Copilot or AI-readiness planning for metadata tagging and discoverability
• Experience in public sector, housing, or nonprofit digital transformation projects
